Pick - When a player establishes a stationary position to block the path of the defender to their teammate.
Pump Fake - When a player fakes a shot to hopefully get the defender to bite, resulting in a much better, open shot.

"Broke his ankles" - When a player crosses over his defender and the sudden change of direction cacausing him to fall.
"He's on fire" - When a player is doing very well and it seems like the can't miss.
"From downtown" - When a player shoots the ball from outside the three point line.
